Education & Experience:
Mr. Stephen Allen received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Oregon State University and his Juris Doctorate from Lincoln law School of Sacramento where he was on the Dean’s List and was a member of the Student Bar Association.
While attending Law School, Stephen Allen worked at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office where he handled a variety of cases ranging from Misdemeanor DUI to Felony Drugs and Weapon charges. Mr. Allen worked for the Sacramento DA’s office for approximately four years handling these cases, as well as working at the traffic court where he gained extensive knowledge in DUI prosecution and various traffic crimes including speed contests and Juvenile DUI cases. While at the Sacramento DA’s Office, Mr. Allen handled over 100 bench trials.
After successfully passing the California Bar Exam, Mr. Allen was hired by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. As a Deputy District Attorney for nearly four years he held positions in various units, including Misdemeanor Trials, Felony Preliminary Hearings, Domestic Violence, Juvenile Court, and Drug Court. He prosecuted hundreds of cases and won numerous jury trials in a variety of cases. Mr. Allen left the DA’s to pursue private practice and vigorously represent those individuals accused of crimes in the Inland Empire.
